Me and my brother Alix. We've played video games almost our entire lives. They've carried us through life, but have also dragged us down.


I drew this sometime in the summer of 03, I think. Around that time I first got my tablet, and this was the first picture I ever tried to ink with it.
I can't really think of a picture that sums me up more than this one. Video games are my life, I'm serious. This picture really means a lot ta me, a lot like my Dreaming While I Wake picture [link] I do love video games so much. I really do.
But again, this picture is fairly old. There are random proportion problems here and there. So, I decided to go back and reink it. I thickened out most of the lines, fixed some random errors here and there...not all of them, I couldn't do that that easily, but some of them. It looks a bit better now.

Dreaming While I Wake and Cords are both the same basic idea, video games as an escape and video games as both a blessing and a curse, but this one I think has a more optimistic feel and I think it's a better representation of me (hahaha, since, you know, Zar is ACTUALLY IN THIS ONE).

I love the wires. Espcially around the green guy, they look like wings ^_^

but its very true. video games are awesome, but it seems like whever you should be doing something other than playing games, you find yourself in front of a console ^_^

Man. That is too unworthy for my comment, but I shall post anyway..That is sooooooooooooooooo amazing. I can't think how long that took you. Utterly unbelievable.
