okay for like the FIFTH TIME a while back thethrillof wrote a short handplates fic where gaster was never erased and instead you find the brothers and set them free, which gaster is less than happy about as you can imagine. this version of events (an au of an au i guess? haha) would play out completely differently in lots and lots of ways, but it’s fun to speculate about though! so anyway here’s a scene from the fic cause why not.
