Big Boss got kind of weird when he got older. See: Metal Gear 2.

This seems to happen to this family a lot. Technically Meryl would probably be too young to match up with Snake as a teen BUT GOD KNOWS THIS SERIES PAYS A GREAT DEAL OF ATTENTION TO CANON
i think this is the only time she shows up, come to think of it



I originally drew this in like 2006, but MGS4 changed my opinion on Meryl so much that I had to rewrite/redraw this completely. This version is like 1000x better than the original, trust me.
I was planning to have Big Boss going "I'M THINKING OF HAVING A BLIND GUY GUARD MY ELECTRIC FENCE" in the third to last panel but I liked his blank stare too much so I cut that.

You know, I'm with BB. If she can't handle random crazy babbling with no apparent trigger, I don't know how Solid Snake expects her to put up with anyone else in his life.

So that's why they broke up... You know, I actually found a screencap with the "poisonous hamsters of zanzibar" and I still can't believe that anyone who knows enough about everything to write a plot about video games could forget that the platypus is the only animal that makes it's own poison like that. :O_o:

LoL Big Boss in this comic is what happens when you spend the majority of your life looking over your shoulder and dealing with the fact half the people you meet are more than likely going to try and kill you. It'd be so sad in this comic if it wasn't so funny. :D

ohhh....
this explain why Meryl finally ends with (put spoliers here) and Snake no ends with her...but,if i can remember,Big Boss approves Hal because:
-no worked for the KGB.
-no worked for the GRU.
-no was related with the Partiots in his childhood.
-no doing espionage in his childhood.
-believes who espionage is a kind of salad.XD
yes i remember that chapter of Les Enfants Terribles.
