Her team actually pays more attention to her moods than Charger might think. So Smoker takes it on herself to do something about it! The best way to cheer someone up is by letting them win at cards, right? Even if Smoker isn't the most subtle about it. Charger appreciates the gesture anyway, haha.

Smoker has brought up her cards before, if you recall. :B

Texas Hold 'Em actually only consists of two cards, but good comic anyway! uwu I love these comics. I don't have the chance to play either of the Left 4 Dead's much anymore, but they remind me to when I get the chance to hop onto Deviantart. I love the characters, too. Keep up the good work.

Wow, I was not expecting Smoker to do something like that.
I mean, I know she cares enough and she's not CRUEL, but she never struck me as the type to be able to express her affection clearly enough to just go out and make a gesture like this, smiling the whole time.

Smoker has a bit of an interesting relationship with Charger. :B She really respects her and cares a lot about her, though she's not the best at showing it. But if Charger's unhappy or hurting she's very likely to try and do something about it (although usually her solution is to try and punch Jockey, which nobody wants her to do).

I've seen that once before, and I know she respects Charger (Due to seeing her happy face when Charger complimented her sniping) and I also know that most of her complaints aimed at Charger are just the result of her wishing to complain.
What surprised me about this was that Smoker would be able to smile like this for an extended period and embark on a clever plan to make someone else happy, due to the fact that she probably doesn't have a lot of practice at it.
Though now that I think about it, the entire plan does speak of her blunt style of dealing with problems.
"Cunning plan:
Step One KEEP SMILING TO TELL EVERYTHING IS GREAT NO NEED TO WORRY
Step Two LET HER WIN ALL THE GAMES EVERYONE LOVES WINNING
Step Three USE LIST TO LIGHT CIGARETTE ONCE CUNNING PLAN IS COMPLETE NO ONE MUST EVER KNOW"

(Oh lord, I can just imagine: "Ha ha ha ha! Is there a mosquito on my face or something? Ow! Ha ha ha ha!")

Haha well if you're trying to cheer someone up, smiling is probably a good idea while doing it right? And she's not allergic to smiling or anything, she'll smile whenever she feels particularly clever or amused or something.
HER VERY CUNNING PLAN THAT WILL NOT FAIL AND IS TOTALLY BETTER THAN TALKING ABOUT FEELINGS OR ANYTHING YES THIS IS PERFECT
