Hunter Shimeji 1.7

Edit - New version! Added some stuff.

-Two new idle animations (usually triggered when you call her to your mouse, if you aren't seeing them, or when she's on an IE window)
-Two new running animations (one for jogging, one when you call her)
-Fixed her crawling animation
-Fixed some timing things here and there
-Added an extra frame at the beginning of her fall

Hunter's .conf files have been edited to give her new animations/adjust ones she already has, so I really wouldn't recommend using her as your base if you're making your own. At least, not if you're just starting out or something.

ZIP version - if you download this, remember to rename the 45.6 kb file in the conf folder 動作, and the 10.2 kb file 行動, otherwise she won't work!

Smoker shimeji - HunterxSmoker shimeji

Hunter will be quite happy to parkour around your desktop and generally be distracting. She can get a bit rough with your windows sometimes though if they're minimized, haha. But you can throw her around as well if you want if she gets a bit too rambunctious.
She might also multiply when you aren't looking...

Shimeji is a little program that makes a mascot run around your desktop and cause mischief. You can find the original here. However, you can replace the images in the img folder to make your own mascot, so I promptly made a Hunter one.

SOME IMPORTANT INFO

Shimeji can only run on Windows (I've heard there are some methods to maybe get it sort of working on a Mac, but I haven't heard if they really work or not) and you'll need the latest version of Java (Java 6, I believe, and I heard downloading this will take care of that if that's an issue?).


HOW TO INSTALL

1. Click the download link on the right and download the rar. (or since this is causing problems, download it here)
2. Double click the downloaded .rar file and a new window should pop up with a 'Shimeji_Hunterzombie1.7' folder. If that doesn't happen, you need an extractor like winrar
3. There should be a button saying something like 'extract to'. Click it, and specify an easy to remember location. This should extract the whole folder to this location (MAKE SURE YOU EXTRACT THE WHOLE FOLDER, NOT JUST THE EXE FILE)
3. Go to the folder and doubleclick shimeji.exe (or shimeji.jar, i heard that works too). A little Hunter should fall on your desktop.
4. To remove the program, delete the folder.

This might also be helpful.

If you rightclick the little Hunter icon in your taskbar, it'll bring up a menu in Japanese. The options go

1. Spawn a Hunter
2. Come here!
3. Remove all Hunters but one
4. Bring back IE screens (Hunter will sometimes throw your browser windows around if they aren't fullscreen, and also MSN messenger I think)
5. Exit


You can also right-click an individual Hunter and click baibai to get rid of her, haha.
